HISTORY
Tiger's Eye takes its name from the colors associated with the powerful cat. Few stories and traditions have been found about Tiger's Eye.
However, this mineral was already well known in Mesopotamia. It was called the Eye of Bellus, in reference to the war god Bellus-Marduk. A large number of carved objects and pendants have been found and associated with the reign of Nebuchadnezzar the Great.
Later, it was the Romans who equipped themselves with pendants carved from Tiger's Eye, and went into battle convinced that they would protect them from wounds during battles.
